WHATS BETTER THAN A NEW OLD STOCK LAMBRETTA?

TWO NEW OLD STOCK LAMBRETTAS!

These don’t just grow on trees this days. Our first Serveta 200 NOS we bought in the UK, you can read all about it in our Tech-Site stories here. https://mbtechsite.co.uk/portfolio-items/nos-lambretta/

This is our Serveta 150cc NOS which stands proudly next to our 200cc on our little Honda pick up truck in our show room for all to see who visits.

It was late one night, sat on the throne before I crawled into bed after a drink and the first thing that popped up flicking through facebook was this Black NOS 150 and it just so happens I knew the seller in Italy. I sent a quick message and passed out.

When I woke up the next day I had a reply and the Serveta was mine! Oh I bought a Scooter last night and had totally forgot!

Oh well the deal was done, we arranged delivery and it was in our possession a few weeks later.

It was indeed a NOS Spanish, built very similar to the 200 – even though they are a few years apart. As with the 200 it’s only got factory dyno run km’s and km’s added been pushed around a workshop and thats the way it will stay. As soon as you ride it it’s not a new Scooter!

This came from Southern Italy, the dealer sticker is still on it. My good mate Wings Winstanley clocked the address and said he would be driving very near to the village on his up and coming tour of Europe. And he did call in to check out the shop, which was still there but selling tractor parts and not a Lambretta part in sight. With a bit of hand flapping as the little old lady and little old man who owned the store didn’t talk English and Wings didn’t speak Italian he found out a worker had bought and left it, never riding it.

Now don’t think a Servetta is a Rolls Royce – it is not! Its more like a Lada, Well I think Ladas were better made!
