SCOOTER RESTORATIONS
A good old customer called and in our conversation he ‘said youre mainly known for engineering’.
Others say ‘You’re only known for tuning’!
But we work on Scooters all the time, the amount of junk out there that people need repairing is unreal, the workmanship is shocking from some people.
And we also restore Scooters, here is one of the latest. It’s an original Sx150 done the MB way!
We happened to build this one from giving our customer a tour of our stores with a view to making him spares for his company. We toured each isle picking parts out and telling him the story of each part, how we made it and how we have improved the Lambretta over the years.
At the end of the tour he was blown away with our products and the way we work.
Then the bomb shell – Ok I want you to build a Lambretta for me and I’ve fallen for the MB way – all stainless – upgraded – wolf in sheeps clothing – 17bhp RT 195 – with original look and paint.
And this Scooter now fits in his multi multi million pound private automotive museum!
I may not turn out restoration after restoration but when I do – it’s right!
