In the last 40 years most of these tools have probably tuned more Lambretta and Vespa cylinder kits than any other Scooter shop in the world.
And they have probably ground away more Alluminium out of casings to be welded and ground away even more to fettle and shape them to perfection.
And then theres all the frame and tin work they have shaped and repaired.
This is my 11th dedicated tuning emporium workshop!
With each one you learn more – you need more and you expand more.
This is our new fettling shop, its at the most furthest point of our big building, keeping as much of the dust and noise away from our walk in shop and show room. It keeps the noise down and it’s where I like to lock the doors, put on my gear and tune – grind and fettle!
It’s cool in the Summer and it’s warm in the winter.
When you first walk into the room you have to squint, the lighting is so bright! I’m used to it – you can never have enough light when your tuning. And along with our extractors and fans it’s a perfect set up workshop!
This week an ex engineer rep of ours had the tour – he said ‘I’d expect you’ve got the best Scooter workshop in the country – if not the world’ And he may well be right.
Now we’re proud to show off just one of our many workshops.
